Disable feedback surveys in Power Platform

If you have worked in Microsoft 365 PowerApps or Power Automate, you might be familiar with feedback survey which pops up quite often.

Microsoft wants your feedback on how likely are your to recommend Power Automate to a friend or colleague?

Well, I ran into a conversation in twitter about this survey. Apparently I learnt that there is a PowerShell command to disable this survey. Writing it here might help others or me when I need it again!

Get-TenantSettings & Set-TenantSettings are cmdlets available in Power Apps admin PowerShell module.

You need to download and install the module before you can run these commands.

  • Download and Install the module.

                  Install-Module -Name Microsoft.PowerApps.Administration.PowerShell

                  Install-Module -Name Microsoft.PowerApps.PowerShell -AllowClobber

  •    Provide credentials. This command will bring a pop up where you can enter your credentials.

               Add-PowerAppsAccount

  • Get-TenantSettings will display all available options and their defaults. All of teh settings are turned ON by default.
  • Run below command to set disableSurveryFeedback to True, which will prevent the feedback pop up.

               Set-TenantSettings -RequestBody @{disableSurveyFeedback = $true}
